Profile: Dave Betts
I was born in Lusarka, where my parents were missionaries, on my 3rd birthday we moved to Tiverton, Devon in the UK.
Grew up in a small town and attended a small pentecostal church. I remember at a young age telling God that if I was going to start anything for him it would have to be fun filled and full of life.
I trained as an electrician and worked in the Uk for 7 years before leaving for South Africa with my wife. After 2 years we returned to Crawley in the UK to start planting churches…
We have been involved in church planting now for 11 years. I am now involved in coordinating church planting for Elim, as well as leading a small local eldership team. In addition to this I am involved in the forming of a small network of churches in the South East.
